General
Q: What exactly is this site, what do you do?
A: I build custom PCs tailored to your needs—whether you’re into gaming, content creation, streaming, or just want a reliable home office machine. I help with picking parts, assembling the system, and getting everything up and running.
Q: Do you sell prebuilt PCs?
A: Not exactly. I build PCs to order based on your budget and goals. Every build is personalized based on your wants. Sometimes I may have an extra build in my stock. Just ask and I’ll let you know.
Q: Can you help me pick the parts?
A: Absolutely! That’s what I’m here for and that’s what the form here is supposed to help me with. Tell me what you’ll use the PC for and your budget—I’ll create a parts list and walk you through the choices we have.
Pricing & Payment
Q: How much do you charge?
A: I charge a flat build fee (usually between $75–$150 depending on complexity), plus the cost of the parts. Some upgrades or custom cooling setups may cost extra.
Q: Do I pay you for the parts, or do I buy them myself?
A: Typically, I handle the whole process from planning, buying, to building. If you have components or you just prefer to purchase them yourself you can bring them to me for assembly.
Q: Do you require a deposit?
A: Yes, if I’m sourcing the parts, I require half of the total down, the other half upon delivery.
Q: How do you take payment?
A: I prefer Venmo. Cash works too!
Build & Setup
Q: How long does it take to build my PC?
A: Most builds take about a week. Depends on part availability and complexity of your build. I’ll be sure to communicate if there are hiccups.
Q: Do you use used parts?
A: If you want me too! A lot of computer components can be found for much cheaper used. Some modern components such as graphics cards can be very pricey. But, purchasing a used graphics card from a few years ago can be an excellent way to get way more bang for your buck. If you elect to use used components I can source them for you and I test them thoroughly, no additional costs required. Keep in mind, there is no warranty on used parts from me or the manufacture and I don’t offer any sort of warranty on used parts provided by you.
Q: Operating system?
A: I can install Windows or Linux, the default is generally Windows. Do keep in mind that Windows will have an additional cost since you need to pay for a license to use Windows, but Linux is free! If you want any suggestions on Linux distributions let me know! (Linux is not generally recommended for those unfamiliar with it. It can take a great deal of time and effort to get things working just right.) I can also leave it with no operating system if you prefer to do that part yourself.
Q: Can you transfer files or set up my programs?
A: Yep! Let me know ahead of time and I can help transfer files, set up Steam, install drivers, etc.
Repairs & Upgrades
Q: Do you offer repair services?
A: Yes—basic diagnostics, part replacement, thermal paste reapplication. Nothing too complicated. We can discuss pricing based on the job.
Q: Can you upgrade my existing PC?
A: Yes! I can help evaluate your system and suggest upgrade paths that give you the most performance for your budget.
Warranty & Support
Q: Is there a warranty?
A: All individual parts are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. I offer a 30-day post-build support window where I’ll fix any build-related issues free of charge.
Q: What if I have problems later?
A: You can always reach out! I offer affordable diagnostics and support for past clients.
Logistics
Q: Where are you located?
A: Eagle Mountain, UT. I do local pickup/drop-off in the Utah County and Salt Lake County area. Delivery may be available depending on distance.
Q: Can you ship my PC?
A: Not at this time—I focus on local builds.
